An agreement has been reached between sheriff's officials and city of Dunnellon leaders for deputies to take over law enforcement duties for the city.

Though the 24-year-old may be spending the rest of his life locked away, some feel the punishment does not fit the crime.

Deputies were dispatched to 527 Hillside Rd. in Albion, where two people alleged that a man had been "acting erratically," attempting to hit them in his 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe.
