Jennifer Garner will star in a new Peacock series, The Five-Star Weekend. The Five-Star Weekend is a new show that will star and be executive-produced by Garner. The series is based on Elin Hilderbrand's novel of the same name.

After The Perfect Couple ’s Netflix success, it felt like it was only a matter of time before another one of Elin Hilderbrand’s Nantucket-set novels would be picked up. While I was holding out hope for the tearjerker that is 28 Summers, Peacock has decided to go in a different direction, and they’ve enlisted the help of Jennifer Garner to boot.

Peacock has ordered a series adaptation of the Elin Hilderbrand novel “The Five-Star Weekend” with Jennifer Garner attached to star, Variety has learned. The project was first reported to be in development at Peacock in April 2024 as part Sue Naegle and Ali Krug’s overall deal with UCP under their Dinner Party Productions banner.
