WILLIAMSBURG, Iowa (KWWL) -- A man is dead after being struck by a car on Interstate 80 in Iowa County. The Iowa State Patrol said the man was trying to retrieve items that had blown out of his vehicle. He was hit by the car while attempting to cross the westbound lanes of I-80.

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - A man wanted on an Iowa arrest warrant was chased across state lines by police Wednesday. The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Houston County, Minnesota Sheriff’s Office at 10:16 a.m. Wednesday.

At 10:59 p.m. March 22, the patrol vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle at the intersection of First Avenue and West Eighth Street. When the crash occurred, the patrol vehicle was responding to the west side of town to assist a vehicle pursuit. The vehicle had emergency lights and sirens activated.
