The Florida Bureau of Fire, Arson, and Explosives is investigating after a barn fire killed 21 horses Tuesday morning.

Marion County Fire Rescue officials said 21 horses were killed in a barn fire early Tuesday. At 3:58 a.m., firefighters were called to the 6000 block of Northwest 118th Street in Reddick about a fire. When crews arrived at 4:13 a.m., they found a single-story, 10,000-square-foot barn on fire. The roof had collapsed.
