The regional National Weather Service office for Houston and Galveston has expanded its flood watch to include Fort Bend and Washington counties.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 12 a.m. Sunday. A disturbance will bring several rounds of rain to the region today. The first round will impact the area this morning and exit the area by mid-late morning.

Acadiana could see flooding going into the weekend along with heavy rain and winds, according to the National Weather Service center. A flood watch is in effect from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon due to excessive rainfall that is expected to push through the area with a 20 percent chance of showers starting Thursday.

On Sunday at 5:28 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a flood warning valid from Monday 12 a.m. until Tuesday 3:50 a.m. for Baldwin County.

EDT the National Weather Service issued a flood warning in effect until Wednesday at 3:12 a.m. EDT for Arenac County.

On Sunday at 6:28 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood statement valid from 8 p.m. until Monday midnight for Hudson, Essex and Union counties.
