Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a former Blackhawk pilot, talked with CBS News' Nikole Killion about the midair collision of a plane and Blackhawk helicopter.

After the initial touch-and-go landing, the Boeing 747 circled back and was able to land smoothly on the second try. The Federal Aviation Administration says the incident was pilot initiated.
