Over 1,700 pounds of the company's 8-ounce Extra Creamy Premium Butter, Sea Salted, was recalled on March 26 for elevated levels of coliform, U.S. Food and Drug Administration documents show.

Coliform is a bacteria often associated with fecal matter (aka poop). Some types of coliform can also be found in plants, soil and in the intestines of animals. It's not always harmful.
