Eugene will break ground on a major expansion of the Ridgeline Trail system — adding 12 miles for mountain biking and hiking.

To celebrate Arbor Day, leaders from Eugene and Lane County joined together to mark the holiday by planting trees.

Eugene and Lane County planted new trees downtown for Arbor Day, turning concrete into canopy and giving names to a few leafy newcomers.
