A 14-year-old senior dog named Duke was abandoned by his Detroit family when they misled the rescue and reported him as a stray. He's now searching for a new forever home.

Dog owners have been warned not to put themselves in danger by trying to rescue their pets from the sea. It comes after a Bridlington lifeboat crew was called to an incident at Fraisthorpe on Sunday.
