A 3-year-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run while crossing the street with his mom and sister, police in Michigan say. Livonia police were called about a hit-and-run around 10:45 p.m. June 29, according to a news release from the police department.

A vehicle crashed into a mother and her 3-year-old twins as they were crossing the street Sunday night in Livonia.

The fatal incident happened late Sunday night at the intersection of Merriman and Lyndon in Livonia. Police have since located the suspect vehicle.
