After it was revealed that Pat McAfee was going to miss Monday Night Raw for the CFP National Championship, WWE has officially announced his replacement.
After calling out WWE over being removed from Monday Night Raw, announcer Corey Graves has returned to NXT and is seemingly happy with his new situation.
Just a week after his emotional social media rant, WWE announcer Corey Graves made his return to NXT. PWInsider reported his return before the show went on the air. Graves was reportedly “booked late” on January 20, 2025, to return to WWE NXT.
The WWE has overlooked Corey Graves and opt for someone else to temporarily replace Pat McAfee in the commentators table alongside Michael Cole for RAW.
Pat McAfee is already taking time off from his WWE RAW commentary duties. McAfee returned to WWE last month as a surprise commentator for Saturday Night’s Main Event. He followed that up by returning to RAW Netflix premiere on January 6 alongside Michael Cole.
Pat McAfee was a regular on the commentary desk with Michael Cole on WWE RAW. However, the star had to be replaced on this week's show three weeks into the new year.

Wade Barrett will be replacing Pat McAfee on commentary on next week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW. Barrett will be calling the action alongside Michael Cole. As we previously reported here on eWn, McAfee will be calling the College Football National Championship game between Ohio State and Notre Dame on Monday night.
Graves was previously in the booth for WWE SmackDown, but when WWE Raw moved to Netflix, Graves moved to NXT for NXT New Year's Evil. It was not clear if the move was permanent. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee called WWE Raw while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett called WWE SmackDown.
