Some severe weather is possible across portions of Florida and Georgia on Sunday after powerful storms swept across portions of Texas during the first part of the weekend that left at least one person dead and several others injured.
A Level 2 Slight risk of severe weather is in place from Tallahassee to Thomasville and back to the west (yellow). For areas to the east, a Level 1 Marginal risk is in place (green). Storms should weaken as they move east. The greater severe weather threat will stay in the Level 3 Enhanced risk for the Florida Panhandle and into Alabama (orange).
