The Pittsburgh Steelers made a big splash in free agency on Monday as they are signing former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay. Slay just won a Super Bowl with the Eagles, and he has been in the NFL since 2013.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are engaged in contract discussions with Super Bowl LIX champion Darius Slay Jr. following his announced r elease from the Philadelphia Eagles. Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, an agreement is not yet final but there is "mutual interest" between the two parties.

The Eagles are also releasing Slay's cornerback partner in Bradberry, the NFL Network reported Tuesday. Bradberry, an All Pro opposite Slay in 2022, regressed in 2023. He spent last summer learning how to play safety before going on injured reserve with a lower leg injury. He stayed on IR for the entire season.
