A trade pitch has the Edmonton Oilers acquiring Jordan Binnington from the St. Louis Blues in an intriguing deal.

St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington is getting linked to another team as the NHL trade deadline approaches. The Edmonton Oilers are reportedly interested in getting Binnington, per NHL Trade Rumors.

Binnington stopped 21 of 23 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Kings. Binnington earned his fifth win in his last six outings with this performance, which also saw him turn aside two of three shootout attempts.

Binnington is expected to start on the road against the Kings on Wednesday, per Lou Korac of The Hockey News. Binnington has an 18-20-4 record, 2.81 GAA and .899 save percentage in 43 appearances in 2024-25.

Binnington was on the hook for the loss after the Blues covered the three goals Hofer gave up. The Blues' defense played well, limiting the Stars to 21 shots overall, but Binnington may have run out of gas in the third period after playing a full game Saturday in a win over the Kings.

Team Canada was criticized for their goalie choices, but St. Louis Blues netminder Jordan Binnington came up big at the right time.

Zachary Bolduc and Alexey Toropchenko also scored for St. Louis, and Jordan Binnington made 20 saves Friday night.

Jake Neighbours also scored for St. Louis late in the first period while Jordan Binnington made 21 saves as the Blues played their second game of six-game trip and the first of three in Southern California.

With Binnington's performance for Team Canada earning plenty of plaudits, the Blues must decide if winning now or later is more important.
