For minors, the minimum hourly wage will be $11.67, 85% of the standard minimum wage. The tipped minimum wage will be $5.49 an hour, 40% of the standard minimum wage.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida’s minimum wage is set to increase to $15 per hour in 2026, as a result of Amendment 2 passed by voters in 2020. The amendment initiated a series of scheduled minimum wage hikes, starting at $11 in 2022 and increasing to $14 by Sept. 30, 2025.
For the first time ever, more Americans will live in states with at least a $15 minimum wage than in those tied to the $7.25 federal rate.
