LeBron James suffered a groin strain Saturday night that forced him out the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Boston Celtics and threatens to complicate the team’s push to the playoffs. Midway through the fourth quarter of Boston’s 111-101 victory at TD Garden,

James worked with the Lakers training staff for much of the timeout and was taken out of the game for Jared Vanderbilt after the timeout. The Lakers ruled him out for the game with a groin injury moments later as James headed to the locker room with a few minutes remaining in an eventual 111-101 Celtics win.
