The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired Pro Bowl wide receiver DK Metcalf in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Metcalf, 27, cost Pittsburgh a second-round selection at the upcoming 2025 NFL draft. In addition, he's getting a massive new contract from the Steelers, a five-year, $150 million deal according to various reports including NFL Network:

Metcalf will sign a five-year, $150 million contract extension with the Steelers upon joining them. The extension will include four new years and $132 million in new money, per the report.

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a bit of NFL history with the DK Metcalf contract. His five-year, $150 million deal is the largest gross amount of money towards a wide receiver in NFL history. Metcalf becomes the fifth-highest-paid wide receiver on average per year with the deal.
