The University of Wisconsin filed a lawsuit Friday claiming Miami's football team broke the law by tampering with a Badgers player.

The University of Wisconsin and its NIL collective have sued the University of Miami, saying it knowingly induced one of the Badgers’ football players to abandon a lucrative name, image and likeness contract to play for the Florida school this fall.

The University of Wisconsin said it had a signed agreement with the freshman cornerback before he left the Badgers to join Miami's team.
