The Washington Post was recognized with two Pulitzer Prizes for coverage of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump and political cartoons by Ann Telnaes.

The New York Times won four Pulitzer Prizes and the New Yorker three on Monday for journalism in 2024 that touched on topics like the fentanyl crisis, the U.S. military and last summer’s assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.

US newpapers The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times were among the top winners on Monday of this year's Pulitzer Prizes recognizing outstanding journalism.
