WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A symbol aimed at spreading world peace now has a permanent home in downtown Warren. The Warren Rotary Club unveiled its Peace Pole during a special ceremony Wednesday.

The eastern white pine tree is revered as the “tree of peace” by the Iroquois Confederacy, which includes the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
