With only a week to go until the Switch 2's big Nintendo Direct showcase, there’s new reporting about when the console will launch and some of what players can expect from the hardware’s first six months.

Nintendo will reportedly launch the Switch 2 in June. It’s also said that the company has a three-phase game launch strategy. There could be a separate Nintendo Direct later this week.

Nintendo is set to show off its long-awaited Switch 2 next week, but fans are already trying to work out what will come next. According to one rumor, the Switch successor could hit shelves as early as June,
