South Korea's interim leader Han Duck-soo called on the nation on Wednesday to accept any decision from the Constitutional Court on impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol in a calm manner.

South Korean acting President Han Duck-soo on Wednesday called for the public to "calmly and coolly" accept the forthcoming Constitutional Court verdict on the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol.

Following months of deliberation, South Korea’s Constitutional Court will decide this week whether to uphold the legislature’s impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol over his brief imposition of martial law in December and formally remove him from office or restore his presidential powers.
