Real-time lyrics launched last week as part of Apple’s new iOS 13 operating system, and allows users to display song lyrics, karaoke-style, while a song is playing.

After seeing 15 million downloads of its song lyrics apps — available for iOS, Android, WP8, desktop Mac, W8 and Spotify — musiXmatch is making its first foray into the living room.

And now that Apple Music Sing will make built-in karaoke a key feature anyone with an iOS device can use, Spotify should really be quaking in its reindeer boots.
