St. Patrick’s Day, the annual celebration of all things Irish, was marked in Savannah, Georgia, and across the United States on Monday with boisterous parades and festivities

St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah is often called the ‘Super Bowl of the South,’ with thousands flocking to the Hostess City for the weekend-long festivities. “Savannah, it's not the biggest city, but it has a lot of character. And I think that they take a lot of pride in the St. Patrick's Day festival as a whole,” said Savannahian Nick Tyler.
