Overshown originally wore No. 35 after the Cowboys selected him in the third round of the 2023 draft before sitting out the season with an ACL tear. He made his NFL debut in 2024, recording 90 tackles, 5.0 sacks and a pick-six before his breakout season was cut short by a Week 13 knee injury.

According to Pro Football Reference, six NFL teams, including the Cowboys, have never had a player wear No. 0 in a NFL game through the 2024 season.

Despite a long and successful history, there are still a few records to be broken, though. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown managed to set one of those Wednesday, becoming the first Cowboys player with a No. 0 jersey.
