Chicago faces a severe heatwave with highs near 96°F, a heat index around 105°F, and winds up to 40 mph this weekend.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90s on Saturday and continue climbing throughout the weekend and into Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures in the city won't drop below 75 degrees overnight,

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with a high in the mid 90s. On Sunday it will be sunny with a high in the mid to upper 90s. Monday will be sunny with a high in the upper 90s. On all three days there will be enough humidity to send the heat index well above 100° during the afternoon.
