Meta is bringing its AI chatbot to Europe, but some features are missing. In a blog post Thursday, Meta explained that the "complex regulatory system" in Europe prevented it to launch Meta AI there, even though it's been available in the U.

Meta AI is finally coming to the European Union, albeit with a limited feature set compared to its domestic U.S. market.

Meta AI moves into WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger and Instagram. The AI assistant is initially available as a chat.
