The Merrie Monarch Royal Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pauahi Street in downtown Hilo. Winners will be announced following the conclusion of Saturday night’s competition.

Halau Kawaili’ula of Oahu under the direction of kumu hula Chinky Mahoe was named the overall winner of the 2021 Merrie Monarch Festival on Saturday night with a combined 1,180 points.
