Forty-nine people were arrested in downtown L.A. on Thursday night: 33 for failure to disperse, 13 arrests for curfew violation, one for resisting a police officer and one for pointing a laser at an airship, the LAPD said.
The LAPD said it arrested 96 people overnight Monday during protests in the downtown area. Charges included assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, failure to disperse and looting and arson.
The suspects have been identified as 41-year-old Rolando Guardado (Booking No. 7033848), and 45-year-old Madeline Fresia Rivas (Booking No. 7033869), both residents of Palmdale. Guardado and Rivas are being held without bail.
