A disturbance is expected to stall late this week over Florida and currently has a low chance for tropical or subtropical development.

The National Hurricane Center is continuing to track possible development off the Southeast coast as we head into the holiday weekend.

Forecasters are continuing to track a disturbance off the Southeast U.S, which has low chance of formation in the next seven days and is not likely to impact Louisiana. Forecasters now give the disturbance a 30% chance of forming as of 7 a.m. Tuesday.
