After saving the life of their heir apparent, tenacious loner Snake Eyes is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage where he is taught the ways of the ninja warrior.

Snake Eyes has overshadowed other G.I. Joe members, similar to Wolverine in X-Men adaptations. To succeed, the upcoming G.I. Joe movies should prioritize Duke as the protagonist over Snake Eyes.
