The US women's soccer team has been uncharacteristically lacklustre in their quest to win a third straight World Cup - and former Matilda Catherine Cannuli has laid the blame at one person's feet.

There are no senior female coaches within Football Australia but three from A-League Women clubs are about to get an opportunity with the Matildas.
