Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. shared images of a new food pyramid that essentially flips the old one upside down.
Regarding protein, dairy and healthy fats, the new food pyramid ends the “war on protein,” according to officials. The new protein target is 1.2 to 1.6 grams per kilogram of body weight per day. Regarding fruits and vegetables, the new goals are three servings of vegetables and two servings of fruit per day.
