Cades Cove Loop Road, Laurel Creek Road, Cades Cove Campground, and more could be closed for days as crews work to clean up storm debris, according to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

It offers an opportunity for pedestrians and cyclists to experience the 11-mile Cades Cove Loop Road without cars.

According to the National Park service, Cades Cove Loop Road will be closed to bicyclists, drivers, horseback riders and walkers until Sept. 27 so crews can to resurface the popular roadway.
