If your fridge has a compression fitting with threads and you’re using a braided steel water line, twist the female end of the line onto the male threads on the fridge connection.

If your machine’s thread is at least compaitbale with brass or copper US parts you can always make pseudo-compression coupling squishing a silicone o-ring between incompatible pressure fittings.
