After suffering a season-ending injury, Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin is making good progress this offseason, according to GM Jason Licht.

Chris Godwin is staying in South Florida. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed their star receiver to a three-year, $66 million deal, according to multiple reports, after Godwin again showed off his strong skills this past season while playing next to future Hall of Famer Mike Evans.

Godwin, the Bucs' second-leading all-time receiver, Monday agreed to a three-year, $66 million contract with $44 million guaranteed, two days before the start of the free-agent signing period. After the Bengals used another franchise tag on receiver Tee Higgins, Godwin became the most desirable free-agent receiver in the league.
