The FAA is investigating after two planes clipped wings at Washington, D.C.’s Reagan National Airport. At least six members of Congress were on the plane. No injuries have been reported.

An American Airlines plane carrying several members of Congress at Reagan Washington National Airport was struck on the taxiway by the wingtip of another American Airlines airplane, the Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday.

FAA officials confirmed that an incident occurred between the two American Airlines flights and said they would investigate. No injuries were reported.

Five lawmakers were on board an American Airlines flight that was clipped by another plane on the ground at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport Thursday. The House of Representatives members were from New York and New Jersey.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which happened on a taxiway of the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport shortly before 1 p.m.
