The Milwaukee Brewers were conducting a moment of silence before their home opener to honor Bob Uecker when one fan decided keeping quiet wasn’t the best way to pay tribute to the lovable loquacious broadcaster.

Ahead of Monday’s home opener, the Milwaukee Brewers unveiled a pair of tributes to Bob Uecker, the longtime voice of the team, who passed away in January. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Brewers shared a video that looks down on American Family Field.

Everywhere you looked on Opening Day at American Family Field in Milwaukee, there was Bob Uecker — if not in body, certainly in spirit. Uecker passed away in January at age 90 after more than 50 years as a Brewers broadcaster.
