American Airlines pulled its 2025 financial forecast on Thursday, mirroring its peers, as growing consumer apprehension over an escalating trade war results in carriers facing a level of uncertainty not seen since the COVID-19 pandemic.

American Airlines joined Delta and Southwest in pulling its 2025 financial guidance citing economic uncertainty. American expects second-quarter, adjusted earnings of between 50 cents and $1, compared with estimates for 99 cents a share. The carrier estimated second-quarter revenue in the range of -2% to up 1%.
