Alabama's Secretary of State Wes Allen announced the state's withdrawal from a voter registration group. Allen said that the state will no longer be involved in sharing voting data.

"I'm promoting voter registration ... all board of registrar offices in Alabama. "Thank you, Mr. Secretary, but those will not be passed out at my state convention," Simelton said.
