Icelandair will commence a brand-new direct service to Miami, Florida, using its latest aircraft, the Airbus A321LR.
Icelandair CEO Bogi Nils Bogason told Business Insider that the A321LR is the "best replacement" for the inefficient 757s as it is 30% more fuel efficient per seat with a similar capacity.
Air Transat will operate this route with the A321LR, one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft in its class, equipped with ergonomic cabins and an advanced inflight entertainment system.
