The University of California system was sued on Monday by a student group for alleged racial discrimination in admissions by favoring Black and Hispanic applicants over Asian-American and white applicants.

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) –A lawsuit filed Monday in federal district court alleges that the University of California illegally considered race in undergraduate admissions, giving preference to “non-Asian racial minorities,
