Capcom has announced Monster Hunter Wilds’ title Update 1 comes out on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In a showcase video, below, Capcom confirmed the release date as well as what players can expect from Monster Hunter Wilds’ first major post-launch update.

Mizutsune, the Gathering Hub, Arena Quests, and Zoh Shia’s return make the Monster Hunter Wilds update ideal, as Capcom drops a big tease.

The first title update also begins Capcom’s rollout of “Arch-tempered” monsters - the toughest monster variations yet. First on the menu is the Arch-tempered Rey Dau, which will be available at Hunter Rank 50 or above as part of an event quest on Tuesday 30th April.
