Remaking Disney’s first animated movie “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was always going to be controversial, but Disney’s new live-action retelling of the 1937 film may just whistle its way to box office success.

Snow White' is looking at a $100M global opening at weekend box office, with domestic markets accounting for the majority of that total.

The live-action reimagining of the classic film has been attacked from the get-go, beginning when Rachel Zegler was cast as the iconic princess despite being of Colombian descent.
