Intense winds, including suspected tornadoes, ripped through east Louisville and several western Kentucky counties Wednesday night. Gov. Andy Beshear said no fatalities have been reported, but noted injuries and structural damage.

Severe storms with damaging wind, hail and possibly tornadoes are expected to hit Louisville Sunday evening, according to the National Weather Service

It’s a good thing this powerful storm struck a part of the Louisville metro area in the middle of the night, because the damage to office buildings could have been a lot more tragic had it occurred during business hours.
