Bobby Brink scored the only goal of the shootout to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-3 victory over the New York Islanders.

The Islanders’ playoff chase officially came to a close. They lost 4-3 in a five-round shootout to the Flyers on Saturday afternoon at Wells Fargo Center and, with three games remaining, can no longer catch the Canadiens for the Eastern Conference’s second wild-card spot.
