After just two weeks in theaters, “A Minecraft Movie” is already the highest grossing Hollywood release of 2025

According to Variety, the film remains number one at the box office. The outlet notes that the $80 million second weekend revenue marks a roughly 50% decrease in domestic sales from the $163 million opening weekend, but that's the norm for new releases. In fact, while 50% sounds like a lot, it's actually not too shabby historically speaking.
