Fresh off an Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championship, Duke women’s basketball is ready to open the NCAA Tournament with home court advantage. The No. 2 Blue

Duke defeated Lehigh, 86-25, in the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on Friday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium on the Blue Devils’ campus in Durham, North Carolina. For the Blue Devils (27-7), the No. 2 seed in Regional 2, Oluchi Okananwa led the way with 15 points as 10 different Duke players scored.

The team’s balanced scoring attack features three double-figure scorers: freshman forward Toby Fournier (13.4 ppg), junior guard Ashlon Jackson (12.4 ppg), and Okananwa (10.4 ppg). Head coach Kara Lawson’s squad enters the tournament on a six-game win streak, with five of those victories coming against projected NCAA Tournament teams.
