Lego has that it will be teaming up with The Pokémon Company to bring block based Pokemon to life soon. While Pikachu fans may have lightening coming from their ears with excitement, there is going to be a wait before they can start building their own plastic Poke-pals.

While details remain scarce, we expect Lego's collaboration with Pokémon to be one of its most popular in years. Both brands have large, dedicated fanbases, and if recent Lego Nintendo offerings are any indication, the upcoming Pokémon sets are sure to please children and adults alike.

It seems as if Nintendo has once again said "I choose you" to the bricks from Billund, because a Lego Pokemon set has just been teased. Or, more specifically, Lego Pikachu. A 14-second trailer published today on Twitter shows a rather recognizable,

Taking to social media, Lego and Pokemon both shared a teaser trailer for the upcoming collaboration which showcases Pikachu's tail made out of plastic bricks. On the official Lego website you'll find a promotional image with the words, "Electrify your imagination in 2026 and get ready to build something we’ve never built with LEGO® bricks before!"
