J.T. Miller’s return to the New York Rangers became successful very quickly when he scored in the opening period against the Boston Bruins, a day after he was acquired in a trade from Vancouver.

The Vancouver Canucks traded away forward J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, his original NHL club, on Friday. The trade came after weeks of rumors that Miller wasn’t getting along with teammate Elias Pettersson.

Star center J.T. Miller is on his way back to the New York Rangers as the Vancouver Canucks are shipping the center for Filip Chytil, Vincent Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick per NHL insider Frank Seravalli. He has been scratched from Vancouver's lineup for Friday night's road game against the Dallas Stars.
